Shopify store information

When you install Baiam, we may access information from your Shopify store, including store identifier, store name, products, inventory information, orders limited to approved Shopify API scopes, and app installation information. Baiam only accesses Shopify data authorized by the merchant during installation.

Account information

We may collect user identifiers, email addresses, authentication information, and account preferences.

Billing information

Subscriptions are managed through Shopify billing. Baiam does not collect or store payment card information.

Usage information

We may collect operational information such as login timestamps, application usage, error logs, performance metrics, and diagnostic information to improve Baiam reliability and security.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to provide Baiam services, generate AI-powered operational insights, analyze inventory and store operations, authenticate users, manage subscriptions, provide customer support, improve product performance, detect security incidents, and comply with legal obligations.

4. AI Processing

Baiam uses artificial intelligence to generate operational insights and recommendations. Store information may be processed by trusted AI service providers solely for the purpose of delivering Baiam functionality. We do not use merchant data to train public AI models unless explicitly stated and authorized.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell merchant data. We may share information only with trusted service providers necessary to operate Baiam, including providers for cloud infrastructure, authentication, AI processing, error monitoring, billing, and customer support. These providers process data on our behalf and under appropriate obligations.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect merchant information, including encryption in transit using HTTPS/TLS, secure authentication, access controls, infrastructure monitoring, and the principle of least privilege. Although no system is completely secure, we continuously work to protect merchant data.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to provide Baiam services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized where appropriate.

8. Merchant Rights

Depending on applicable law, merchants may have the right to access their personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, object to certain processing activities, or request a copy of their data. Requests may be submitted using the contact information below.

9. Third-Party Services

Baiam integrates with third-party platforms and service providers, including Shopify. Use of those services is governed by their respective privacy policies.

10. International Data Transfers

Merchant information may be processed in countries where Baiam or its service providers operate. When required, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
